Bedwell Gardens is a family owned & operated greenhouse & nursery. Come browse in our country setting for your annuals, vegetables, perennials, shrubs, fruit trees, shade trees & more. The opening of our turn of the century barn has added a new point of interest, a new choice of containers & other retail merchandise.

Location: Our gardens are on twenty wooded acres approximately 10 miles south of Des Moines.
Go east on Summerset Road off of Highway 65/69. Summerset Road is about 4 miles north of Indianola. There are 3 blue county signs to lead you to our gate once you are on Summerset Road. We are on a very long dead end road – a big green flying frog greets you at the gate!!

We also sell at the Valley Junction Farmer's Market held Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Our booth is across the street from the Community Center on 5th Street, West Des Moines.

We sell hostas and daylilies at 2 area Farmer's Markets. We sell about 500 varieties of hostas and 100 varieties of daylilies. We have a few other perennials as well such as astilbe and ferns.
